Biking Adventures
Our biking adventures have taken us to 26 different countries in the world.
It has always been, and remains to this day, a source of renewal for our bodies and spirits.
It seemed as if every few years we just had to go somewhere on a grand journey by bicycle.
Our first was from Costa Rica to Peru in 1984. We had never been on such a journey before.
Mike had always wanted to travel in Central & South America. Since we were not bus travelers, we decided to ride bikes. Neither of us had ever ridden more than 20 miles on any bike ride. We chose to start in Costa Rica because it was a peaceful country in the midst of 1980’s revolutions and strife.
The most recent of our biking adventures was in 2014 across 10 countries in Europe.
